There are some beauty brands we can’t get away from, and Charlotte Tilbury is definitely one we always find ourselves circling back to. Sharing our full face makeup favorites, breaking down each of the beauty products, shades, and how we like to use them!
This primer is the most beautiful “glow from within” type of makeup product, we talked about it last summer here. It’s a primer that we like to throw in to our routine in two ways, either 1) as a base layer under foundation OR 2) something that we mix into foundation and buff out over the face! The flawless filter primer comes in tons of shades and sits at the $44 price point. It’s a tad pricey but the bottle lasts forever, trust us 😉 We use shade “4 Medium.”
The Airbrush foundation is definitely FULL coverage & very matte. Not something to use every day (since that’s not our primary reason for foundation but great for a night out where you want your coverage to last all night, photographs well too!) The best way to describe it is a creamy consistency, matte finish, $44 price point, and comes in a lot of shades (we prefer shade 5.5 Warm).
This concealer is high-coverage and SO creamy. It’s got a felt tip applicator so you get a little bit of product with each pump (hard to go overboard with this one). It’s also cool to see how much product you have left as you “push up” each time – great packaging to keep track when you need to replenish! One thing to note, it is a thicker/creamier consistency so it takes a bit longer to blend out under the eyes. Best tip to apply: use a damp beauty blender so you’re blending out evenly. Don’t be discouraged and keep at it! It sits at the $32 price point and we use “shade 6: medium.”
Our ride or die under-eye setting powder. If you’re someone who struggles with dry skin, or feels f-l-a-t with powder on, this is the perfect balance of setting your face without *fully* matting it out. The yellow undertones are great for anyone that has natural darkness under the eyes. We use “shade 2: medium” which works perfect in our olive & warm toned skin! Best tip to apply: use a damp beauty sponge to press & seal concealer with this powder (when concealer is really packed on and you want it to stay put all day) or use a fluffy brush to dust over the face and give that “air brushed” look.
There is a larger size ($45) which is what we have and a smaller size if you’re someone trying it out for the first time ($25)!
Such an easy-to-use product, it’s got your blush & highlight compact in ONE! Blush sits on the outside ring, highlight is on the inside circle. Our favorite way to apply is to swirl it around the outside, pop it in the middle, and then tap on the high points of our cheeks. It’s got the prettiest glow that’s not “sparkly” if you know what we mean. We got the “pillow talk intense” shade which is a deep rosy pink (great for medium-dark skin tones) and is $40! Definitely a pricier blush but it’s getting 2 products for the price of 1 and it does last forever – haven’t even made a dent yet.
The lip liner we’ve been loving since last spring is in the color “Hot Gossip” which is a tawny, rosy color and PERFECT to layer under just about any color. This one is priced at $22!
The lipstick that everyone is obsessed with (including us) is the Pillow Talk Original – the universal nudey-pink every gal needs in their makeup kit 🙂 This one is $34 and actually comes in lighter and darker versions, depending on your preference.
They also have these great mini liner + lip combo sets ($25) if you are just starting out and wanting to try out the formula for both products, without committing to full prices.
Okay if this doesn’t sound boujee, we aren’t sure what does! The name says it all. This gloss feels SO GOOD on the lips – almost tingly & cold, which definitely gives it the “plump” look. But also feels like a refreshing boost of hydration for the lips all at the same time! Great to layer on top of lip liners, lipsticks, or wear all by itself! This one is $35 and we have it in the color “Rosy Glow” (pink nude) but also have heard wonderful things about “Refresh Rose” (sheer pink) & “Peachy Plump” (sheer peach).
When you do your makeup you want it to last ALL day. We love incorporating a setting spray to our looks to seal it in (sounds extra but it makes the world of a difference in lasting), while still letting all the makeup settle in properly to the skin. This spray is wonderful at just that! Started out with the mini ($20) but definitely will upgrade to the full size ($35) when it runs out. It’s lightweight, fresh, and it doesn’t react with sensitive skin that I (Pri) have.
