Hello friends! The Nordstrom Anniversary sale can be very overwhelming, we totally get it! And we are also in the middle of a global pandemic soooo elephant in the room – we all don’t need a whole lot right now, right? 😂
We’ve rounded up some true closet staples and pieces WE will be grabbing that’s totally worth the hype, or that we grabbed last year (they tend to have similar styles year to year, just revamped versions.)
We’ve broken it down by category to give you the best of each, so you only have to look at the section that you’re shopping for.
BEST OF BEAUTY
- NeuLash Serum – Set of 2: $95 (Orig $190): This lash serum has changed the game, y’all! Both of us have very short natural eyelashes and using this every night has TRULY made a world of a difference. So much longer and and new lash growth. Got the 2-pack last year (usually ONE costs the same of this pack) and will 100% be restocking! Lasts about a year (can use each tube for 6ish months).
- TULA Skincare Kit: $68 (Orig $118): We are such a fan of TULA, that’s no secret! But each of these products we have purchased individually and are the best of the best – why not snag them in a discount pack for way less $$$.
- T3 Singlepass Curler (1 1/4 inch): $107 (Orig $160): This is the curler we both use on our hair and have for the last year or so. Great for 5 different heat settings (setting 2 for Pri – thin/medium hair & setting 3 for Ani – medium/course hair). Curls last for days and such a chic looking curler too. Hands down best curler!
- Anastasia Brow Wiz & Gel: $27 (Orig $45): These are both items we re-purchase multiple times a year and this is a STEAL for both. Normally the whiz is already $21 so for $6 more you get the full size duo. We get shade “Dark Brown.”
- RIKI Skinny Light Mirror: $130 (Orig $205): GUYS this mirror is amazing. Multiple light settings, so easy and compact (lays flat in suitcase) for traveling or girls trips where you need light/mirror space to get ready — we all know those hotel bathrooms where 6 girls are crammed into one tiny bathroom 🤣
- Olaplex Bond Maintenance Set: $84 (Orig $126): This line has truly changed my hair (Pri). I’ve loved the No.3 Hair perfecter so excited to try out the shampoo/conditioner!
BEST OF ACCESSORIES
- Satin Trim Wool Felt Tulip Crown Hat $38.90 (Orig $59): A great, classic hat to add to your closet! It’s a mix between a blush and a taupe – PERFECT for a fall sweater.
- Halogen Snakeskin Print Wool Panama Hat $38.90 (Orig $59): This grey color with a snakeskin trim seems so fun and but still functional for your closet. It’s always great to have a cool toned hat to pair with greys/blacks/whites and jewel tones in your closet.
- Halogen Oval Buckle Leather Belt $38.90 (Orig $59): This belt is a great fall staple for sweater dresses! You can create two looks out of one dress!
- gorjana Palm Coin Pendant Necklace $35.90 (Orig $60): Gold pieces have been so in lately and this would be perfect to add into a necklace stack or wear by itself. This brand has the best quality pieces so $35 is a steal!
BEST OF SHOES
- Steve Madden Pointed Toe Mule $49 (Orig $89.95): The cutest gold detail on a comfy flat. Perfect for work or a brunch date. We both opted in for the tan, and also grabbed the white and black for each. Sized up to a 7!
- Marc Fisher Oshay Pointed Bootie $99.90 (Orig $189.95): A bootie that screams FALL! Really fun tall block heel, so comfortable to walk in. Great to pair with jeans or fall dresses.
- Vince Camuto Derika Leather Boot $149.90 (Orig $239.95): Very similar to a pair of tall heeled booties from last year – we both grabbed that pair so opted out here. If you need tall fall boots – this is the place to grab them. Sized up to a 7.
- Steve Madden Nadalie Pointed Toe Bootie $79.90 (Orig $119.95): A chic & classic pair of booties for your closet. Ani opted for the white leather and Pri grabbed the black. Can’t go wrong either way! Sized up to a 7.
- Vince Camuto Gradina Block Heel Bootie $99.90 (Orig $149.95): Very similar to the Gigietta booties from last year. You will always reach for these in your closet – TRUST US!
- Nike Air Max 270 Sneaker $112.50 (Orig $150): These are such a cute neutral pair with a pop of pink for working out or running errands. Normal shoe size 6.5, always size up in Nike to a 7.
BEST OF SWEATERS/JACKETS
- Treasure & Bond Plaid Blazer $65.90 (Orig $99): If you’re feeling bold, opt for this blazer that’s sure to add a fun spin to any look. Great for a gals or date night look. TTS – size small.
- Rails Military Jacket – Olive $124.90 (Orig $198): Heard so much hype about this jacket last year, so decided to grab it this year. This color is so nice on all skin tones and can be dressed up or down. Always looking for classic but versatile pieces for the closet. Grabbed a size S.
- Sam Edelman Wool Blend Coat $149.90 (Orig $240): Great long fall/winter coat if you don’t have one in your closet. TTS – size S.
- Chelsea28 Cowel Neck Sweater $49.90 (Orig $79): A white mock neck sweater is sure to be a piece you grab for years to come! Love this one because it’s not too tight on the neck and fits TTS – size S.
- BlankNYC Leather Jacket $56.90 (Orig $98): Pri grabbed this jacket last year during the sale and Ani is grabbing one this year. Such a chic add to your closet and truly amazing quality. TTS – Size 4.
- Barefoot Dreams Cozy Cardigan $65.90 (Orig $114): The softest thing you’ll ever put on, seriously! Pri wears it on every single flight, legit feels like a blanket on you. Great for gifts, moms, or yourself. Sized down to an XS.
BEST OF DRESSES/BOTTOMS
- BP Long Sleeve Dress $31.90 (Orig $55): SUPER versatile dress that can be dressed up or down. So excited to wear this with booties, tall boots, or a leather jacket in the fall, and slides or sneaks in the spring. Comes in a cheetah & olive green too. TTS – size S.
- BlankNYC Suede Mini Skirt $48.90 (Orig $98): Super high quality suede skirt! Feels so much more expensive than it is. Can’t wait to pair this with fall sweats & boots. Runs TTS – size 27.
- FreePeople High Rise Busted Knee Jeans $49.90 (Orig $78): Great if you’re looking for dark wash denim! Runs a bit small, size up.
- Topshop Crop Slim Jeans $49.90 (Orig $95): These are such a classic pair of denim for your closet. Light wash and light rips throughout. Always size up in this brand (Pri grabbed a 28!) The crop also makes it great for short gals.
BEST OF ATHLEISURE/COZY
- Zella Studio Crop Leggings $35.90 (Orig $55): This blush color is the cutest to add to your set. Great for lounging or WFH life – grabbed a size small. Got some Zella leggings a couple years back & they hold up so well!
- Faux Spanx Leggings $64.90 (Orig $98): No lie – these are a GREAT investment piece. Great to dress up for a night out or down with sneaks. Has the “luxe” look but still super comfortable! Linked the petite here since we are shorties (we are both 5″ 1′ and under) but if you’re above 5″ 3″ then go for the regular length. Got this in last year’s NSale and never looked back!
- Adidas Graphic Tee $19.90 (Orig $30): Great piece for working out or running errands. A girly twist to a basic Adidas tee.
- BP Cozy Shorts $15.90 (Orig $25): Perfect lounging shorts. Such a soft materials. TTS in there – size small.
